Men's Cross Country Picked to Finish Eighth in Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll

Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll

HIGH POINT, N.C.- Southern Wesleyan men's cross country team was picked to finish eighth in the Conference Carolinas preseason poll.

The Warriors received 37 points in their first conference preseason poll as full NCAA Division II members. This fall also marks the first time they will be able to compete in the conference meet as they were not eligible to compete as a provisionary member of the NCAA Division II. They were ranked nine points behind Barton for sixth place.

Four-time defending Conference Carolinas champion Mount Olive was ranked first in the poll as they received nine first-place votes and 90 points. They are also the defending NCAA Division II Southeast Regional champion and will attempt to make their fifth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Championships this fall.
