Warriors Break School Records in Aggie Invitational

Greensboro, N.C. - Southern Wesleyan breaks school records in Aggie Invitational in both men's and women's events.

 

How It Happened

Men's Results

In the Men's 100 Meter Dash, Nick Edward stook 28th with a time of 10.81.  Jannai Maxwell took eleventh with a time of 21.63 in the Men's 200 Meter Dash.  In the Men's 400 Meter Dash, Shonquez Caldwell took thirty-first with a time of 51.19.  Teammate Edward Todd took 33rd in the 400 Meter with a time of 51.86.

 

Women's Results

Lyric King took sixteenth in the Women's 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.05.  King was followed by Morgan Haney in 18th with a time of 12.06.  Kayla Achenbach took 33rd with a time of 12.62, Skylar Julian took 34th with a time of 12.64, and Katrice Hunter took 35th with a time of 12.74. 

Sophomore Skylar Julian took fourteenth in the Women's 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14.75.  She was followed by Jessica Maggio in 20th with a time of 15.29.  In the 400 Meter Hurdles, Jenna Karel took 10th with a time of 1:06.45.

In the Women's Javelin Throw, senior Olivia Bush took first place with a distance of 38.93m.  Paris West took fourth in the Women's Discus Throw with a distance of 34.69m.  West went on to take third place in the Women's Shot Put with a distance of 11.69m

 

What's Next

The Warriors will next travel to the Gamecock Invite on April 22 before returning to their home turf to host the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championship on April 28 and 29.
