Kissimmee, FL – Southern Wesleyan fell to Bethel College in their final game of pool play in the NCCAA Nationals on Tuesday in a 2-1 final.
The Warriors posted 10 shots and two shots on goal in the loss to the Pilots. Juan Sebastian Castro led the team with four shots and two shots on goal in the loss. He was followed by Marcel Joseph with three shots. Castro scored the lone goal for the Warriors. Miguel Uribe played the whole game in goal for the Warriors, posting seven saves while allowing two goals.

How It Happened
The Pilots attacked first, however Miguel Uribe saved the ball. Southern Wesleyan countered with shots by Isreal Evans, Marcel Joseph, Juan Sebastian Castro and John Peter Mareus taking shots. However the Pilots kept the ball from the net. Bethel scored first, taking a 1-0 lead on a goal by Samuel Biek.
Bethel kept Southern Wesleyan scoreless until the second half of play. Juan Sebastian Castro crossed the ball into the net to allow the Warriors to tie the Pilots. Southern Wesleyan fought to pull ahead, with shots by Castro and Grant Kiker, but they were not able to gain the advantage to force the Warriors and Pilots to go into overtime. One minute into the first overtime period, Samuel Biek put the ball over Miguel Uribe's head to give the Pilots a 2-1 victory.
