Warriors Fall to Mountain Lions

Young Harris, GA – Southern Wesleyan fell to Young Harris on Saturday evening in a 5-0 final score.

The Warriors posted seven shots in the loss with five shots on goal.  Izzy Evans led the team with two shots on goal.  Miguel Uribe posted three saves and had five goals against him in the loss.

How It Happened

The Young Harris Mountain Lions struck first, scoring two goals within the first 20 minutes of play.  By the end of the first half of the game, the Mountain Lions led by four.  The Warriors took several shots on goal, but were not able to pull around the Young Harris defense to score.  Young Harris took the win in a final score of 5-0.


What's Next

The Warriors will next return home to face the Bob Jones University Bruins on Tuesday, September 5 at 7 p.m.  They will then travel to face the North Greenville Crusaders on September 9 in their first Conference Carolinas match-up of the season at 7:30 p.m.
