Southern Wesleyan Sitting In First After First Round Of Conference Carolinas Championship

Snow Hill, NC – Southern Wesleyan sitting in first in the Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship after the first round.  There score puts them three under par as a team, which is a record low round.

How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan is sitting in first after the first round in the Conference Carolinas Championship.  The Warriors posted a first round score of 285, three under the North Greenville Crusaders.  Eric Shea is sitting in first place with a first round score of 66.  Shea's score put him six under par.  His score is the best round in school history for a freshman.

Ty Campbell is sitting in a tie for third place with a first round score of 70, three under par.  Senior John Keffer is sitting in a tie for 13th after a first round score of 73.

Sitting in a tie for 26th place, Noah Mullens shot a 76 in the first round.  Fellow freshman Zach Huebner is sitting in a tie for 32nd place with a first round score of 77.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Championship on April 16.  The tournament will conclude on April 17.
