Conover, N.C. – Southern Wesleyan sitting in fourteenth place in Southeast Region Preview after the first round of golf on October 9.

How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan's Zach Huebner led the Warriors in the first round.  Huebner hit a 75 in the first round of play to sit in a tie for 23rd going into the next round.  Huebner was followed by Eric Shea and Noah Mullens with a first round score of 77 to sit in a tie for 48th place.

Ty Campbell finished the first round in a tie for 69th place after hitting a first round score of 81.  Campbell was followed by fellow sophomore Joseph McDonagh-Brown.  McDonagh-Brown finished in 81st place with a first round score of 87.

 

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will continue in the Southeast Region Preview on October 10.  They will then travel to Palm Coast, Florida to take part in the NCCAA Championships on October 23 through 25.
