CENTRAL, S.C. – The Southern Wesleyan University women and men’s cross country teams will open up their 2010 season at the Eye Opener Invitational in Spartanburg, SC this coming Saturday, September 4th.

Melissa Bolt, a member of the Southern Wesleyan Women’s Cross Country team and Daniel Furr of the Southern Wesleyan Men’s Cross Country team were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes in their respective sport.

SWU Cross Country Teams Runs at NCCAA National Championships
The Southern Wesleyan Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams competed in their final team event of the season with the women finishing in 12th place and the men finishing in 16th place at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Championships in Cedarville Ohio.
