SWU Softball Home Opener Snowed Out

Warriors home opener now February 13

 Southern Wesleyan University and Newberry College tried to play the season opener for both teams in the cold, rain, and even snow on Thursday, but the doubleheader was called in the top of the second inning due to inclement weather.

The Warriors will still get to open the 2010 season at home, but they will have to wait until February 13 when they host Wesleyan College. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
